Draven axes disappearing

Hey frens, I'm a Draven main and idk if I'm just bad but sometimes I feel like axes disappear even though I should've caught the axe. I also autoed a minion with an axe and the axe just disappeared! After I catch the axe and auto again, it just disappears. Idk if I'm wrong but his hand also comes up empty, where usually I think a not spinning axe should be.
