[GAMEPLAY] Karthus Ultimate Cooldown

Was trying out KarthusKarthus during a custom game. Bought the Ionian Boots of Lucidityitem 3158 at level 18, then I noticed the ultimate's cool down was 120 seconds. After I refunded the boots, the cd on the ult remained at 120 seconds. Then I proceed to buy the Fiendish Codexitem 3108 , the cd on the ultimate changed, and it increased after I refunded the Codex.

I restarted another game to check on that. Had 10% cdr in the beginning (5% from runes, 5% from masteries). Bought the bootsitem 3158 at levet 6, with a total of 20% cdr. The cooldown on ultimate decreased from 180 seconds (with 10%cdr) to 150 seconds (with 20%). Then I refunded the boots, but cd on the ult is still 150 seconds. Then I tried Fiendish Codex again, cd on ult changed, and returned to 180 seconds after I refunded the Codex.

This seems like a legitimate bug. I will try this as well, but instead purchasing DIFFERENT boots afterwards. Since boots are items that are unique like no other, chances are the effect may 'stick' to your character once its applied once. If it fixes from me putting on a different form of boots after selling them, then it should be the problem.

i agree it sounds like a bug it could also be a toolbar glitch just consider karthus ult being 3 mins always and you should only use it for executes when alone or dead dont just spam it cuz its up and itll all be fine

In the first game, did you already have 40% CDR before buying the boots, or was that your first CDR item?
