League Not Actually opening

Well whats happened is me and a friend started a game up, went through champ select fine and everything, then we get onto the loading screen but i didn't. I checked my toolbar and the lol reconnect thing was there. Clicked reconnect and nothing it just kept minimizing it, it never brought up the league of legends logo or let me get onto the loading screen. Any ideas?

Try the repair option, maybe a file got corrupted or something.

Experiencing the same. Can't connect to the game after champ select. I quit ranked immediately, then tried a normal game. Same thing. So i tried custom bot games. Can't join that either. I didn't find anything definitive on the forums w.r.t a solution, so i will try the repair option.
