Crashing out of nowhere

When I play a game, more than half the time my screen freezes then my game says league of legends client has stopped working, then crashes, causing me to reconnect and fail my team mates and sometimes be in a lower priority que the next game. Does anyone know how I can fix this and/ or what the problem is?
