The entire Right Side of my client is missing. The entire social page is gone and it says that I am offline to all of my friends. This is incredibly frustrating since there is basically no way for me to fix it.

So I had a friend login on my account on a different computer and it was doing the same things so I believe it should be an account problem and not a client one.
Yeah the pbe has been reporting the same problem for a few days as well, which means they rolled the bug out from pbe to us. I am having the same issue after restarting,repairing, etc.

Try to adjust your date and time, I had the same problem and Riot Team replied to my ticket, adjusting my date and time to my zone and syncing it to the time.windows.com solved my problem.
Just logged in to bump the fix. As others have stated there seem to be "two" clients..... the old league client and the new Riot Client. People have said to delete the Riot Client folder in the C drive (or which ever drive letter you have the game installed) but if you are like me, I didn't have that folder. If re-installing the game didn't work for you either, here's why:
If you go to C:\Users"yourwindowsaccountnamehere"\AppData\Roaming\League of Legends - you'll see the much talked about "Riot Client" folder there. Delete the whole folder. Then go to C drive or wherever game is installed and launch the league client, it will update the client to the new one.

If your login screen does not look like this your friends list will not work!!!!
It may sound stupid but it worked for me...
I downloaded and installed Rito's new game "Legends of Runeterra" in order to get the "new" client. Now just run the new game (LoR), login and close it. After you've done it just run Lol as you would normally do and at this point you should be able to login to Lol with the new client.
