gift card code error (?)

So uh I got this gift card as gift haha... it won't work. I have used them in my life many times, but this is first time having problems with it. It says "an error has corrupted, code incorrect" even tho it's written right. (since I checked it always 3 times and wrote over and over again. Idk what to do ;-;
