Xayah's feathers vs Braum's Shield

I've noticed that unlike (afaik) all other projectiles, Braum's shield does NOT destroy Xayah's feathers when blocking them with his ability. I wonder if this is an oversight for a new champion ? or is it intentional ? Would appreciate some feedback ^

Only projectile I can think of that it doesn't destroy is Orianna Orb (for obvious reasons) and it stops that from moving when it hits the shield. At the very least the feathers shouldn't be moving passed Braum's shield.
