Fiddlesticks ult

I'm sorry that I have no real evidence but this has happened twice now butt when playing if you use your ult and spam the flash button (For lazy timing) there is a split second between the end of the channel and the cast of the ability where flash will activate, stopping the ult entirely (no animation, no damage and no jump) yet it goes on full CD.
