Tristana Rocket Jump

So i came across the following situation in my last tristana game

A----------------B----------------C-----------------D AD is the intended jump range B is the point when trist gets caught by thresh E the process is, trist jumps across AB, get caught at point B, and jumps the 2nd time across BC, and finally lands on point C.

supposedly I should land somewhere around B (depend on thresh) because my jump was cancelled

or this is intended
