Don't think this is actually a bug, but Kindred's ult text does say stops all living things from dying....apparently that doesn't count if it's the enemy fountain? If this was on purpose, please put it in the ult description text.

Fountain ignores every thing that makes you think you live. Kindreds ult, Kayles ult, Alistarst ult(Doesnt deal less damage) TRINDAMERES ULT(Thats right, you aint inmortal in there %%%%%!) Bards Ult, Vladimirs pool are all useless. The only thing that gets a respite, and only AFTER they die, are Kathus and Kogmaw, because they cant be hurt again after they die.
The real question is why you were trying to cheese the enemy fountain to begin with.
Fountain does pure damage. There's no cheating that.
Fountain laser killing everything is common knowledge. It already kills Tryndamere and Kayle through their ults and kills through Bard ult and Zhonyas. No need to add a tooltip specifically for it since it is something that will never change. Pure damage is unstoppable. Period.

Fountain ignores all of those things. It's the most powerful thing in the game, and is already known by most players
There does not need to be a tooltip on that, nothing saves you from the fountains damage. NOTHING.
Pure damage is uncounterable by any means
That's how it works for literally every invulnerable ult
