[CLIENT] Not enough RP bug + Lunar Revel Shop

I don't have enough RP to make images of this, but I'll explain this as thoroughly as possible. First I'll say what I think is going on, and then I'll explain my own experience.

Bug: Buying something in normal shop and having your RP go down, but it doesn't show your RP has gone down. This is just something that happens until you play a game or reset your client. However, if you go into the Lunar Revel shop and attempt to buy something when you have less than sufficient funds but the client shows you have sufficient funds, it will "go through" and show you that you've bought it. It will say "Owned" and you can click the buy button. Yes, this will reset just as the RP will go down if you play a game or reset your client. Yet the fact that you can "buy" it and have it say owned is a problem.

My Experience: Yesterday I bought a Hextech chest with the RP left over from buying Neon Strike Vi. I opened the chest up and got Dragonblade Riven (woohoo!), and afterwards I went into my Lunar Revel Shop. I saw that Definitely Not Blitzcrank was 70% off and went to look at the price. I realized I didn't have enough (but the client hadn't shown it, it still had 305 RP displayed since before the buying of the HChest). I saw that the buy button was still highlighted though. I clicked on it, and then it took me back to the Lunar Revel Shop, and DefNotBlitz said "Owned." Confused, I reset my client and it was now back to normal and said that I did not own DefNotBlitz.

Recreation: (LR Shop = Lunar Revel Shop) 1: Buy anything in the normal shop to put your RP under the amount of buying something from LR Shop. 2: Enter LR Shop 3: Go to item that you should not be able to buy with amount of RP you have, while client displays you having a higher than the amount you need. 4: "Buy" item.

Either way, there is my explanation of what went on with this Lunar Revel bug. (dear rito if you see this, still waiting on my PBE acceptance since April 14th ;-;)
