Faulty sivir spell shield

I only noticed it this one time but i was playing a game and mega nar was chasing me and threw a house at me, i activated my spell shield while the house was mid flight and i still died from the damage. I also think sivirs shield should "block" spells not as the spell says it does, some spells still give the caster its benefits for hitting sivir (like sorakas heal) but sivir doesnt suffer the effects or damage.
