Mac client keeps crashing in champ select

Started happening consistently after the PROJECT update. I have tried rebuilding/uninstalling and reinstalling and it keeps doing this. I'm tired of the queue penalties.

Running on MacOS Sierra 2.7GHz i5 .

I'm having the same issue, only way I can get into a game if is I'm first pick so I can take my champ before the client freezes. Also when I try to login now the client's screen just turns completely gray.
