Mystery Champion shard Purchase in New Client

I've discovered a bug with the Mystery Champion shard item in the store, I currently have 1800 ip and it is not allowing me to buy it giving me the message that I don't have enough Ip/Rp. I don't have the Rp for the Item, but i do have the Ip. This has been particularly frustrating for me because I have been using the shards to make finishing up my champion collection cheaper, and I have 1 of the 3 shards i need right now, but i can't buy more to finish it up.

does it effect more than just the mystery champ shard? if it effects everything in the shop then you have to launch the old client to resync your IP amount then relaunch the new client and it should work as its supposed to. this happened to me for 3 patches until it finally stopped happening.
