PBE PATCHING EVERYTIME I START

is there a way i can start the pbe where i dont have to get a patch every single time, it takes me about and hour or so to redownload it ( basically i finishing patching then i close i come back to play more and i have to patch again) .... I dont know is this is a problem with the patch 5.3 overall or if its PBE
