Client Bug - Disconnected from game but internet is working

I was in the middle of an ARAM game warming up for ranked and out of nowhere the game just stops and everyone is standing still. It says attempting to reconnect so I checked my internet, everything is fine. I tried restarting, signing out and back in again and ending tasks in task manager. No help. A different thread mentioned syncing time on the task bar clock and I tried that and now I'm getting the error message "The login queue is experiencing heavy traffic. Try again later or check the server status" nothing to be said about the server status on the link.

Anyone else having this problem? I was trying to get some ranked in before I had to go to work.. [slayer-jinx-unamused]

On 01/23/20, starting at, 01:30 Pacific Time (09:30 UTC), ranked queues will be disabled in preparation for patch 10.02. At 03:00 Pacific time (11:00 UTC), the servers will be shut down and all games currently in progress will end in a draw and stats will not be recorded. We estimate the battlegrounds will be unavailable for 3 hours.

Same. Last day i can play before i leave for over a week. Pretty lame.

Yes, Patching. I was going to post about this just now.

There should be big warning notices in the client in advance of server down for Patching. It serves no purpose to have a notification in the Server Status webpage since nobody goes there until they already have had the problem of being disconnected.

There's a Notification area in the client already and they can have the Red Exclamation Mark there so people see it. Beeter yet, have a red message on the client, visible without having to click on Exclamation mark.
