Yahoo mail can't get recovery mails

About a week or two ago I've tried to open the settings to change my password and it told me that I'm supposed to get a verification code on my email. Got no email what so ever. Tried it again and again, resend e-mail etc. and still no luck. But I didn't really mind so much so I left it at that. Couple days ago my friend tried to open up his settings and he got the email instantly to his gmail account. So after that I was pretty sure it's about yahoo. Now I'm trying to connect to my pbe account but I forgot the password. Trying to get recovery link but I cannot get that either. Yahoo simply doesn't get recovery or verification code emails from riot games. What can I do about this?

As a side note I also tried "forgot username" option and I got email for that (although it took me like 5-10 mins to get it). But password recovery or verification code while trying to open settings never arrives.
