Reconnect button doesn't work

Game starts, never get the loading screen. All I have is the "Reconnect" button but it doesn't do anything.

Same for me the last two games (EUW server). I'm afraid of being punished as "leaver" if I would try another game...When can I be sure this issue is fixed?
