Weird Ping Glitch during Team Builder Games (With new Summoner's Right Beta Map)

During an match, if I press g or even go to the ping option on the mini-map, I cannot chose what sort of ping I want. My ping is stunk on the danger ping not allowing me to signal that enemies are missing, target a player, etc. I don't know how to fix it and it's quite annoying having to type everything out on chat to make sure things run smoothly. Help?
