Not Responding During Champion Select

This has happened on several occasions, when banning or selecting champions, where the client randomly stops responding and will not return to the game and in most cases this happens during ranked, unable to select a champion or a ban, forced to close the game and reopen and receive a queue time ranging between 5-30 mins along with losing between 3-10 LP

exactly why did this start happening it never did back on NA server or on release of OCE server
