Cho'Gath Knock-up not showing indicator

Just played a game against a Cho'Gath and a couple of times i noticed him use his Q but I couldn't see any AoE indicator. Caught it on Overwolf after the game as evidence. (See attached video, around the 7 second mark. Please excuse the low quality)

If used in certain spots(like a bush without vision or part way in a wall) you will be unable to see the indicator.
