Gameplay huds and shop not working

After alt tabbing to change music after tabbing back in I realised that my gold was not moving form 74 gold and thought well this is a pain, then found out that all huds including minions, turrets and champions making the game pretty much impossible to play. I have had it happen before but on Rengar which was fine because I can track the passive stacks through muscle memory.
