Auto attacks not doing damage

I play fairly regularly as adc and there is an issue with the auto attacks occasionally no doing the intended damage. The animation will hit a champion or minion but does no damage to it. This happens probably 1/300 or so attacks(guesstimate). I know I'm not the only person this happens to because my friends have seen it happen as well. Please fix this issue. No damage = pissed off players.
