ClIENT/CRASH BANNING

hey guys i was loaded into a ranked game about 3 times now and it just went all screwy. i pressed the character i wanted to ban (dr mundo obv.) and it wouldn't let me lock in at all. after this happened i tried to press a diffrent char. and it didnt work again it wouldnt let me lock in. i thought it was my internet but my friend has had it happen too.
