Polymorph Doesn't Stop Garens Q

When playing lulu, Garen would Cast his Q I would Poly-morph him before getting near me, once reaching me His Q would still go off while still being poly morphed.

its not a bug. you probably polymorphed him after the q animation already started.

its a general game mechanic, that cc doesnt interrupt abilities mid animation unless theyre explicity channeled abilities (like karthus ult). so his q still connected as he cast it before you casted polymorph.

I understand but if you read her Poly morph it says Can't Attack and since Q is not a targeted spell but Garen has to actually attack then it's a bug or the wording on Lulu's Poly morph needs to be changed.

the attack occured before you polymorphed him. since the animation is slow enough, you polymorphed him while the attack animation played.

its the same as certain champions appearing to use mobility spells while theyre cced. if an ahri casts her ult at the right moment, just before shes is hit by a morgana binding, she will appear to be snared and still dash to a new location where she remains snared until the cc falls off.

its similar in this case, where the garen started the cast of decisive strike just before he got polymorphed. which is why the attack still connected.

No I wish i knew how to post a Replay, He was not near me this happened several times, he would hit Q I was far behind my minions, I would Poly Morph him the Sheep would run up to me and the Q went off everytime. I understand if he was standing right next to me and Q'd then i could see your point but this is not the case.
