Error in the bday message from Riot? (thanks for the wishes tho)

I logged in today and got a pleasant message from riot wishing me happy birthday but it also said I got a new summoner icon. Does Riot give icons as bday gifts? Because I checked everywhere on my account and didn't receive anything despite the message so either the message was wrong, or the icon doesn't deliver on your birthday correctly.
