I was playing an ARAM game. Fiddlesticks had just ulted while he was at 20% health. Playing as Veigar I went to kill him with my ultimate, but he used zhonya's hourglass at the same time. It nullified my ult and put it on cooldown while he was safe in the hourglass.
Zhonya's Hourglass "Champion becomes invulnerable and untargetable for 2.5 seconds, but is unable to move, attack, cast spells, or use items during this time "
I think this is a desired effect that will not be changed
He also had to spend 3300g to get that zhonya's, let's not forget that. It mitigates all kinds of ults, not just yours. If you really wanted to kill him, Throw down your E then ult.
Did u use ult during zhonya or before it went up, thats the question.
As much as I hate it, I believe that's "working as intended"
It's been that way for years, ive had it happen to me a couple times and i've done it to Veigar players a couple times.

See that's your problem there you fedora.
A couple things. First off, you sound very rude in your comments to people. Second, it is working as intended. "champion becomes INVULNERABLE". That means that you cannot do damage to champion. Sure, your ult is an "instant cast" but it still travels through the air. If, during the travel time, Zhonyas is activated, then the target takes 0 damage. That is the point of the item. So, please do not comment with things like "read above notdevan. Please don't comment" or "Do you guys even use logic before commenting?" when the person is right and you are wrong. Just because you don't understand simple English terms doesn't mean that others are dumb.
