[Crash] Game client freezes after loading

Ever since patch 4.21, after the loading screen completes and i am placed into a game, occasionally the client would completely freeze. The only way to fix this is to forcefully log out of Windows and log back in, then try to reconnect, which causes me to be late to lane. Task manager can't be accessed because the desktop screen remains black after alt + tabbing. I have some suspicion that this has some problem or bug with Yasuo or the Project: Yasuo skin because every time I played Yasuo this issue happens (I'm not completely sure about this however).

EDIT: I can confirm this issue occurs specifically with Yasuo. I've played other games and they have been fine... Then I picked Yasuo in a custom game and i got the same issue again.

I have tried completely re installing the game and I still get this issue.

For now, the quickest way to get back into game is to start task manager after ctrl-alt-del (you cant access it), then u gain ur taskbar, then click on the Riot logo on the notifications tray to get to the air client, and close that. The game will bugsplat but u can log back in easily without restarting ur computer.

I have the same problem... Can someone inform Riot, Please? I lost many matches because of that..

Btw.. it's not a computer specifications problem, i'm running Core i5-4430, GTX 750 Ti and 8 GBs of RAM... And i repaired my client as well!

I have had this exact same problem. It happens at least 1 and 3 games. I know of at least two other people that have the exact same problem. It has been occurring ever since patch 4.20 for me.

I have the exact same problem as well, at first I thought it was just too much stuff happening at once in the match causing my client to completely freeze up, but it happened last night when I was just standing there. And I use a Macbook Pro, so it's on both PC and Mac clients, it seems....

i want to say i have the same problem but issue here is slightly different, it happens at the prepare yourselves screen, where the countdown is finished but i find myself sitting there for MOONS, and its not getting anywhere, but i cant force close it or it give me a "If you leave now you'll recieve a time penalty that will either stop you or your team from entering a match made game!" what the heck? how do i get around this?

I get the same thing. Never happened to me before and I keep trying command line stuff but it doesn't solve it. I have firewall exceptions to allow every single EXE in the Riot folder for both inbound and outbound rules too.

hello guys i have the same problem i have found a better solution to get back in faster when you ctrl alt del click task manager (you wont be able to access it because the screen is black) but you will be able to see your task bar at the bottom of the screen click on the little arrow to pop out a little window that shows whats running in the background go to your back ground double click on the riot logo/client and another league window will open click on and pres alt+f4 it will exit out the second league client and it will cause the game to crash now you can just log back in reconnect and play i have only done this on windows 8.1 haven't tried it on 7 ill tell you guys when i do tho tell me if this is helpful and i hope it is cause this suks ;_;
