Game not launching

So i was in a game and all of a sudden the game closed out on me, i restarted my computer and tried to get back in but the League application just bounced once on the dock and did nothing, so i uninstalled it and reinstalled it and i got to about 6% before it wouldn't open again so i uninstalled it and reinstalled it again and now it's doing the same thing it did before bouncing once and not doing anything. I have an early 2014 macbook air so i know i can run league i don't believe its a problem on my end. Riot whats up?
