I tried verifying my clash account with SMS and it said my phone number "appears to be invalid." I know my phone number works, and I included the +1 (it's an american number). My friend is having a similar problem. Any ideas how to fix? Is this happening to anyone else? Is this a known bug?

Very Nice6410 votesI was having the exact same problem and it was driving me nuts. I finally just got it to work by clicking into the first box and deleting the "+" mark and simply entering "1" ( I am in the U.S.). Then I put my whole phone number with area code in the second box (1231231234).

LifeIsMemeingful2 votesI'm having this issue too. It says on their announcement that if you try to many times you can be temporarily locked out but I didn't get a message saying that I'd been locked out. It just never worked.

LordeDracus1 votesIP addressing shouldn't be an issue, as this wasn't supposed to be in use as anything other as to prevent smurfing. If you and your friend have 2 different phone numbers, it should be fine. Especially since you're using different accounts AND different phone numbers.

But I guess thats why its in BETA. However, with it being on the PBE for awhile now, there shouldn't be any reason for that to screw it over. lol

Sabuchan1221 votesIt is not a bug, for people who have problems and they are putting +1 and there phone number and everything, you can only put in a mobile number (a number from a cellphone). If you have a phone connected to a plug then it's probably a landline and it won't work. Hopefully this will help you.
