I tried verifying my clash account with SMS and it said my phone number "appears to be invalid." I know my phone number works, and I included the +1 (it's an american number). My friend is having a similar problem. Any ideas how to fix? Is this happening to anyone else? Is this a known bug?

I was having the exact same problem and it was driving me nuts. I finally just got it to work by clicking into the first box and deleting the "+" mark and simply entering "1" ( I am in the U.S.). Then I put my whole phone number with area code in the second box (1231231234).
It is happening to me aswell and i dont know what the problem is.

I'm having this issue too. It says on their announcement that if you try to many times you can be temporarily locked out but I didn't get a message saying that I'd been locked out. It just never worked.

I haven't been able to confirm it at all. Every time I hit the button it doesn't do anything.
I've been trying for a couple days with no luck. It accepts my number just fine but i never recieve the text to confirm it. Rather frustrating. Suppose I won't be playing this weekend then.

It is not a bug, for people who have problems and they are putting +1 and there phone number and everything, you can only put in a mobile number (a number from a cellphone). If you have a phone connected to a plug then it's probably a landline and it won't work. Hopefully this will help you.

Just type your phone number in the the space provided.... it will show up as (XXX) XXX-X.. but it worked for me just fine idk why

Every format i've tried, it gives the same damn message! and keeps resetting the country to Afghanistan... I've tried: +1 234 5768 9999 1 (234) 5768 9999 (234) 5768 9999 None of the ways work! it appears to be a Bugged out Failed System for so many of us! :/ Another Fail by RioT yet again! :/

Are any of you trying to do this in a household with two people with different accounts? worked for my friend but not for me (same IP adress), thinking it could be configured to accept only one team per IP address

did you put in the - if so that's the mistake i have noticed since i didn't go 123-456 i went 123456 and it registered my phone
Uh It works for me. For the first one, do +1 and then for your phone do 123-456-7890
Follow Very Nice64's instructions. There is no reason for that "+" sign to fuck over this SMS verification so hard. Riot kinda rushed it a bit. But I guess thats why its in BETA. However, with it being on the PBE for awhile now, there shouldn't be any reason for that to screw it over. lol
