Getting Banned

My name is SlimyDonut and i got banned for 1 day because my game crash wasn't it said that ive been leaving alot of games or something but i never leave games or go AFk this is dumb. Riot should be able to tell when its not your fault you had to leave your team. Its not are fault that are internet goes out or are ping is high it happens once in a while to everyone. So why should we get banned for it? I think you should only get banned or leave buster if you Purposely left your game or fed or left because you raged not if your game crash in loading screen. This is ridiculous that i got banned for my game crashing for like my 3rd time in 6 mouths of playing league of legends. Im so done Riot you need to change something cause i know this isn't just happening to me it happens to my friends also for there game crashing or ping high. They weren't trying to hurt there team so why should they get banned?

It sucks that you DC'd, and sucks more that you got banned; but, it's impossible for anyone to tell if it's your fault or not. I don't know how you'd get banned by disconnecting from only a few games across half a year. Maybe most/all of the players in each match reported you for it? I don't know how many reports for DC it would take to get a ban.
