Laning against an Ekko Gameplay

Sometimes Ekko's ult's mirror image would teleport from one place to another.It would kind of lag at times as well and then teleport to where it should be . I am not sure if the Ekko would see the teleport or not. The Ekko I played against didn't use flash or a skill to move faster when this occurred.
