well it says execute minions below a certain health and i tried it on thresh it works on killing and giving the money to other chars but its not instantly killing units as i though it would? is that how its supposed to work or is there something wrong?
It needs to be a melee champ and Thresh is ranged. (However short)
The execute only works for melee auto attacks, as it says in the item description.
Thresh is ranged, so he typically relies on his E passive to kill the minions.
It never has. you have to properly last hit in order to share. it's odd, but so is Thresh's auto. It's not melee, but it's not ranged either. It's like a photon, it changes properties depending on how you observe it. Screw wave-particle theory. if we want to solve quantum mechanics, we need to study thresh's melee-ranged theory.
Also as a tip, it's one of the reasons to level e to 3 before maxing q. get more pent up damage on harass, and help secure those minion shares.
