Disqualified from promotion series after dodge

Today i was in my promotion series and I had 1 win and 1 loss, in my last game of my promotion series in champion select we had a way worse team comp then our enemy and I decided to dodge, when i logged in again it said "you are disqualified from your promotion series due to inactivity". Is this a bug or does it automatically disqualify you from your promotion series when you dodge?

It tells you as much on the warning screen before you exit.

No, when you dodge while in series, it counts as a match loss.

Dodging gives you a loss for your series.
