Champion Select Freezes

There is a bug where my champion select freezes out of the blue, it happens once in about 15 games. I just lost my series because I had to 'dodge' when in reality my client froze and there was nothing I could do. I have probably lost over 60 LP because of this bug and it is very annoying. Multiple people have been experiencing this bug and I am surprised Riot has failed to address it, much less fix it. The bug has been around since about 6.13.
