Renekton E - W Bug

Excuse the rage, this stuff is just ruining my ranked experience is all.

So just recently (I probably played Renekton a few days ago and it was fine) I am apparently unable to Slice and Dice and then immediately activate my W afterwards so that I can dash to a target and then stun them when I get to them. It ignores my initial W keystroke and makes it take a beat/second before I can actually hit W and it have it activate, which completely throws off the timing and positioning of all trades and engages. I tried mashing W relentlessly when dashing and I think it worked, but why would it not then work from pressing E and then pressing W once? I didn't see anything about Renekton mechanics changing in recent patch notes.

I E and then can almost immediately activate my W. Now it's like there's a cooldown to where I can't use other abilities after I E for a second, which makes a huge difference.
