There are a few other conditions besides the score, For example you need to own the champion that you play, and you can only get one cheast per month with each champion
I always find that the ones that make these posts don't fully understand how to get chests.
You can only get a chest on a champion once a year. This is technically not season 8 yet. You can only get chests on champions you own. Free week does not count as owning. You get new possible chests every week. Max 4 stored. If you run out of available chests, you can not get a chest, even if you own the champion and haven't gotten a chest on them yet.
