Mac Crashing in Preseason 6 (Patch 5.22)

I have now been disconnected from 3 games spanning from ARAM and Blind Pick. I was playing last week perfectly fine then after a great game I queued up to play another and met this black screen. I can queue up for games and message but the problem I am having is when ever the transfer over from LoL client to gameplay occurs where it shows everyones skins, champs and borders. I am greeted by a black screen. At this point, my computer then freezes. I have reinstalled league 3 times now and had no success in doing so. Usually with my you can press command q to close out programs that are not responding but with this I actually have to hold my power button down for the a lotted time to make my laptop manually shut down. I don't really know what to do as of this point. If anyone can guide me to a conclusion I would greatly appreciate it.
