Friend is online but unable to be invited

On my friends list I usually only play with a few people. One of my friends that I play regularly with isn't showing up in my list of friends to invite. She is online and I can invite her by typing their name into the invite thing. When I view my friends list it goes, "Players online, Players in game, Players mobile, Players away, then her" Anyone have any idea whats wrong with it?
