Xerath Q Problem

I was playing Xerath, but at about 15:00 minutes my q completely stopped working. It wasn't the keyboard, I could type it just fine. I also tried clicking the icon and changing the hotkey, the ability just wouldn't work. Does anyone now how this happened or how to stop it?

I've actually heard of it a couple times. I believe there is also a bug with Varus Q right now too.
