New champ select effecting rank

So lately the new champ select has been glitching my brother and I, it will disconnect us without telling us and the timer will still count down it gets to 0 and it will freeze, but yet the champ select is still happening so sometimes it will be my turn and I wont even know. Sometimes I try to lock in and the button just keeps coming back and wont let me lock in. I've been demoted at least 3 times because of it, I've lost so many points. It happens even with hardwired connections and I'm starting to feel like it is the client.
