Won't reconnect me to the League of Legends Homepage.

Dear Riot, After finishing a game, the black screen with the "skip waiting for stats" button appeared. I exited league and logged back in only to find that league was trying to reconnect me to the game that I had just ended. after clicking the reconnect button, as it is the only thing I know to do, the entire screen goes black and acts like it is going to load but never actually does. the only way to get out of this black screen is to press Esc in which case it brings me back to the reconnect button.
