Was in lobby for my last game as yas mid when I noticed I could not change my summoner because my internet was going wonky. Closed the program to try to dodge the game, BUT APPARENTLY... because I was DC'D... the game didnt register I closed the client... and launched the game anyways pretending I was there. I reset my router. Note that it was LITERALLY UNPLUGGED FROM THE WALL for the time that the game would have started, so there is physically no possible way I was in this game for the first 3 minutes. When my router starts back up... my computer loads the game of league even though there was no client running... and its like 8 minutes into that game with my summoner still smite on yasuo mid. When the game ends, I dont even have a post game screen because like I said... client was closed. How did this happen? It was as if the game literally couldnt tell I was trying to dodge... BECAUSE I WAS DC'D, even though u'd think DC'ing in lobby would cause me to dodge anyways? And apparently they couldn't remake because they game pretended I was there the whole time even though like I said, LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE because my router was unplugged.

Rito plz

I just had a similar problem. I closed the client (before the time ran out in champ select) to attempt to dodge a game (support troll pick), and when I reopened the client, instead of being at the home screen and accepting the LP and time penalty, It attempted to reconnect me to the game, upon which I closed the client again and it froze/crashed (I was sitting at a black screen for several minutes waiting for something to happen). After opening the task manager to get around the freeze, I went to the client and ended the task, and reopened it once again. Upon which (to my dismay), I find in my match history that instead of dodging the game like I had intended, I received a "LEAVER (REMAKE)." [slayer-jinx-unamused] (REMINDER: My client crashed and I was looking at a black screen. While I was apparently in game at the fountain) I was one game away from promos losing 15 LP (94 to 79) instead of the 3 I should've lost. I believe problems like these call for an option to leave the game in the client.

By dodging a game, a player acknowledges the penalties that come along with dodging, and would rather accept those penalties than play with the team they are queued with in champ select. Therefore, I propose that there should be an easier way to go about dodging, rather than having people attempt to dodge and getting smacked by penalties (such as LEAVER (REMAKE)) for something they had no control of. Let me clarify: I am not suggesting to get rid of penalties. I believe the penalties are needed and fair. I'm just suggesting a more successful way to dodge. [slayer-jinx-wink]
