Seeing ghosts of enemy champions

Okay so me and my friend were playing on summoners rift (normals) and the weirdest thing would happen. Anytime the enemy graves walked into a bush to set up for a gank we'd see a "ghost" of graves appear in the middle of the lane for a split second before seeing the actual graves walk in behind us or from a totally opposite side. Ive had this happen to me when laning against ekko as well where id see his ult passive quickly walk from behind me as he sat in top lane river bush. I don't know if its just me going crazy or if its been reported before, but me and my friend both saw it happen.
