Xin q bug?

Just had a game (lost, promos over), as xin. Through the entire game, whenever I used q on any target, on the third hit, there was a blip, and the target just sat there with a timer over their head, instead of being knocked airborne. This wasn't an issue with display, as on two occasions, it worked normally, and when the glitch or whatever occurred, our yasuo couldn't ult the target. Help or bug fix from rito please?
