So today I played a game of Ascension and we won. We had Katarina in our team and she got an S rank. After that I got the message "you must own the champion in order to earn the mastery chest". But I own Katarina already. Why didn't they give me a chest.

Wont0n1 votesyou can only get one chest per champion per season. so if you already got a chest with quinn this season then you'll have to wait t'ill season 7 before you can get another chest with quinn
Mondere1 votesAlso, you would have had to be in a premade with that katarina in order to get a chest from her S, even if you owned the champ you were playing. It doesn't matter if someone you were matchmade with gets an S, you don't get anything for that.
