My team bug splat(Theirs didnt)

In my previous game my team was planning on pushing our advantage. My whole team bug splat out of the game and the other team was able to push 3 inhibitors while we were out. I mean if it happens to one person on a team ok, but if it happens to one whole team it seems a little . Has anyone else experienced this recently?
