World Orbs a scam or bugged?

I did the open 10 option with my worlds orbs and lo and behold I see while clicking through "Garen Champ Shard" with the next one being "100 orange essence". Now correct me if I am wrong but the worlds orbs clearly do not state champ shards being in the loot chance and if they did then I would have just not bought them at all since masterwork would have been a safer option instead. Now I know that Riot doesn't care enough to actually fix it if it is an issue but at the very least be honest with us about what we are gambling on since even EA so far hasn't stooped to lying about what is in their lootcrates.

It's bugged. The page states they contain skin shards. It also states they might have OE equivalent to the redeem cost of the skin shards. Given that you got Garen and 100 OE, this is a bizarre bug where it thinks Garen is redeemable with 100 OE.

Filed a bug report around the same time I posted this but nothing will come out of it. I been doing bug reports for years and never heard a peep out of Riot so at best I can expect them to do a ninja fix and ignore me, at worst they will just leave it as is which is the more likely outcome since more money for small indie company. I have had a similar thing happen to me only twice and one was from a valve game and the other was from a csgo skin trading site and both fixed the issue within the same day and actually responded to me with an apology. At least Gabe Newell still loves us. [zombie-nunu-bummed]
