Can’t stay connected

I am on a MacBook Pro. I am currently updated my OS. But the problem is, after the patch that went out today, when I try to play a game of league, every couple of seconds, I get “attempting to reconnect”, sometimes it will fix itself, sometimes it will not, and it will crash my entire internet connection. It only happens when I am playing league of legends, I have played other games, and my internet is fine. I can also browse the internet just fine. Some assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hey, this is happening to me as well, although not quite as often. However, it won't reconnect after the "Attempting to Reconnect" bit. I have to leave the game and rejoin.
