Game ended but still says I'm in game

So I logged off of league after finishing trying to look for my most recent game in my match history (more about this later), but when I log back in, it still says that I'm in a game. I hit reconnect, expecting it to say that the game is no longer in progress, and, after waiting a little while, it says "Unable to connect to the server. Please check your network connection and attempt to reconnect to your game."

I basically am unable to play anymore games of league now, at least on this account (Arcana Prince)

Teams: Blue (my team) vs. Red (enemy) Top: Jayce (MentalZodiac) vs. (forgot who) Jungle: Taric (Goombahead01) vs. Rengar Mid: Aurelion Sol vs. Ziggs ADC: Azir (me (Arcana Prince)) vs. Sivir Support: Soraka vs. Zilean

Now to walk you through step by step of what happened from the beginning (during champ select)

1. : after a 5+ minute wait in queue me and my friends get into champ select.
2. I pick my champion, Azir adc cause we felt like playing some troll picks
3. when it was the final pick for the enemy team. things started getting weird
4. They picked nami as support, but the timer went all the way to 0 for about a minute
5. I then got a message saying that I haave lost connection to chat and was later taken out of champ select.
6. same thing happened to my friends except they didn't get disconnected from chat
7. one of my friends, MentalZodiac, says that it said he got the message that summoner 5, the nami, failed to select a champion
8. after experiencing this, we all relog only to find that we it says that we need to reconnect to the game, so we do
9. the three of us then suspect that we were ddos'd by the nami or someone in the game somehow
10. we all manage to get into the game to find that the nami switched to zilean
11. after a comback, we win
12. after clicking the button that takes you out of the game, we all were sent to the screen that says something along the lines of waiting for stats
13. 2 of us (including me) get tired of waiting and hit "skip waiting for stats" or something like that
14. I then go to look at my match history to look at the game, but find that it wasn't there.
15. We all notice that the game wasn't recorded in our match history and, jokingly, call it a phantom game, as if it never happened cause it wasn't recorded into our match history.
16. my 2 friends call it a day and log off
17. I log off a little later as I debate wether or not to play another game
18. I log back on when I see that one of friends has started playing league so I can add him to my friends list
19. when I do log back in, it says "You have left a game in progress. Please reconnect to the game." even though I finished the game
20. naturally I hit reconnect, expecting it to say that the game no longer exists.
21. However, instead it says that I am unable to connect to the server. and I should check my network connection.
22. I try relogging 3 times with the same result and even tried attempting to cheat the system by having a random person in my friends list invite me to their game to see if I can get out of this screen so I can go play a new game of league, however this fails.
23. With the client still open, I then go to boards and click "create a discussion" under the subject of "report a bug" to tell rito about what just happened.

I'd really like to get back to playing league on my account (Arcana Prince) as I've been playing for about 2-3 years now and really don't want to lose all of the progress that I've made. Please fix this or at leasst get me out of the "game abandoned" screen.
